New Email Password Requirements
Effective April 2012 Castles will implement new email password protocols.
In an effort to increase security for our email system as well as all users, Castles is releasing a system-wide update to password requirements.
This system update will not impact existing customers on deployment. The update will only enforce new stricter password requirements when users change their passwords or new users are added to the system.
Existing users with weak passwords will be encouraged to, but not required, to change their passwords.
New password requirements:
At least eight (8) characters in length. No more than 20 characters in length. Contain at least one number (0-9) character. Contain at least one special character from - !@#$%^&*()~`-=_+[]{}|:";',./<>? Contain at least one upper-case and lower-case letter. Cannot match the account login name or email address.
To change your password, go to web mail and log in. Your user name is your full email address. Once in web mail, click on 'Options' then 'Password'.
